1SG AUDRIC Y. BURNETT

55TH SIGNAL COMPANY FIRST SERGEANT

First Sergeant Audric Burnett enlisted in the U.S. Army in March of 2006 where he conducted Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and completed Advanced Individual Training, earning the MOS of 25R at Fort Meade, MD.
First sergeant Burnett’s first unit of assignment was from February 2007 through February 2012 at Delta Company, 3rd Psychological Operations Battalion (Airborne) (Dissemination). He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007 in support of PSYOP Task Force 10 and in 2010 in support of PSYOP Task Force 17. From February 2012 through July 2015, he served as an Instructor at the Defense Information School for the Visual Information Equipment Operator-Maintainer Course. Returning to 3rd POB (A) (D) in September 2015, SFC Burnett served as the System Administration Detachment Sergeant and Heavy Print Operations NCOIC for D Co. He was then assigned to HSC as the Battalion S-3 CUOPS NCOIC. He was later reassigned to A Co. as a Detachment Sergeant. From January 2019 to February 2021, he served as the Senior Drill Sergeant for Echo Company, 551st Signal Battalion at Fort Gordon, GA. 1SG Burnett returned to Fort Bragg in February 2021 and assumed responsibility of Alpha Company in June 2021.
First Sergeant Burnett’s military and civilian education include Basic Airborne Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, BFT Leader/Operator Course, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Combatives Level 1, Tactical Combatives Course Level II, Instructor Training Course, Visual Information Management Course, Unit Movement Officer Course, Air Load Planner Course, TC-AIMS II Functional User Course, Network + Course, SERE High Risk, Army Operations Security Program Manager/Officer Level II Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Drill Sergeant Course, Master Leader Course, and the USASOC Static Line Jumpmaster Course. He has an Associate’s in Applied Science from Thomas Edison State College and is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science from Southern New Hampshire University.
